Which sector I.e primary, secondary or tertiary comprises largest population of unorganized workers why??

Dear student, Primary sector comprises of the largest number of unorganized workers because too many workers are available, and demand for workers is less. Also they don't have much skills and qualifications and remains unemployed half of the time. These workers get job according to the availability of job. All this is happening because of high growth in population, limited skills of labourers and poverty. These types of workers get less wages and they can be asked to leave at any time without any reason. For example - 10 workers involved in place of 2 workers in one job, it means that 8 of them are extra and are facing disguised unemployment. Hope it helps. Regards

The Primary sector comprises of the largest number of unskilled or unorganized labourers because the activities that come under this sector do not require much skill or any qualifications. Whereas if we see in the Secondary or the Tertiary sector, the activities that come under them require good skills and even somewhere qualifications too.
