Which type of vegetation is found in Jharkhand ?

In Jharkhand, Tropical Deciduous Forests are found. They are the most widespread forests of India and are also called monsoon forests. Deciduous Forests are found in the regions receiving rainfall between 200 cm and 70 cm. Trees of this forest-type shed their leaves for about six to eight weeks in dry summer. In Jharkhand region moist deciduous forests are present because of the high rainfall (200 - 100 cm). Deciduous Forests that have plenty of water available are called moist deciduous forests.
