Who came first? The plants or the pollinators?

Dear Student

This is a topic currently under research. As per initial findings it was concluded that angiosperms (plants) were present from a much earlier time than the pollinators. However, according to a very recent research, the findings state otherwise.
Hence, it is not yet clear to the scientists whether plants or the pollinators came first.
