a.  Dr. B.R Ambedkar was a politician, a social reformer who played an important role in the upliftment of Dalit community.
b. He fought against the Social discrimination of the Dalits.
c. Amdedkar played a prominent role in the making of Indian constitution, and headed the 
 drafting committee of the constituent Assembly.
d. He has been rightly regarded as Father of the Indian Constitution.

e. Dr. Ambedkar  argued that political democracy based on the principles of liberty, equality and justice  which he believed can only be accomplished when there is social and economic equality.
f. Thus, It was imperative to bridge the gap between the rich and the poor.
g. It was important to bring about social equality, to do away with caste based discrimination in the society.
As long as such disparities existed in the society we may not be able to attain equality in the real sense.
h. He  served as the first law minister of Independent India.
