Koch was Einstein's mathematics teacher. Mr Koch thought that Albert had an exceptional understanding of mathematics and that soon Albert would be able to teach him. He knew that at a very early stage, Albert was not meant for school and that he would leave school to pursue higher studies in mathematics.
