Who lead french revolution of 1789 what is revolution

Dear Student,

a. French revolution was led by the people belonging to the third estate who were burdened with the taxation and were disgruntled with the existing system.
b. It included the common people, peasants,  the less prosperous people who later formed the Jacobin club.
 

 A revolution refers to a  major upheaval and drastic socio economic and political transformation that takes place. In case of   \France the revolution was  between the period 1789 to 1799.It referred  to the movement on part of the people which brought about an end of the old regime in France ,  and later established society on the basis of merit.
French revolution brought about a  complete overhauling of French political structure that ended monarchy and declared France to be a Republic.

The revolution ended when Napoleon Bonaparte took power in November 1799.
