Who says what :

a. "And how's our little Einstein?"

b. "Wasn't he a mathematician, Mr. Jackson?"

c."I think he was a jew, Mr. Jackson".

Why? Is there a taunt/pun intent?

(a) This was said by Jackson, the senior prison officer on D Wing in the play “Evans Tries an O-Level”.
(b) These words were spoken by Evans.
(c) The speaker of these words was Evans.
This was a part of the conversation between Evans and Jackson on the morning of the examination, when Jackson and Officer Stephens had gone to check on Evans. Like the rest of the authorities, Jackson did not believe that Evans was interested in learning German for a professional certificate so, he had sarcastically poked Evans by comparing him to Einstein- the German-born theoretical physicist. In response Evans too had sarcastically reminded Jackson that Einstein was considered a master not in German but in Physics. Moreover, he was a Jew, which Evans was not so Jackson’s sarcasm had been wasted on Evans.
