Who was the first mughal king and the first finance minister? Write about them.

1. Babur,  was the first Mughal emperor (1526- 1530),  who succeeded to the throne of Ferghana in 1494.
2. In 1526 he defeated the Sultan of Delhi, Ibrahim Lodi, at Panipat and captured Delhi and Agra.

3. In 1528 , Babur defeated the Rajputs at Chanderi and established control over Agra and Delhi.

 Babur was a religiously tolerant ruler who permitted construction of new Hindu temples .
5. 
Infact, Babur followed a middle course in respect of religion. He paid visits to Hindu temple at Gwalior. He introduced the policy of matrimonial alliances with the Rajputs 

6. He was succeeded by Humayun who after his defeat in the hands of Sher khan flee to Iran.
