Who was the worst emperor in Roman Empire and why?

Dear student there were many emperors in Roman empire who were considered to be worst some of them are- Commodus, Nero, Caligula, Maximinus and Diocletian etc. Reasons why these are considered to be worst can be discuss only related to one . So refer the following in order to know that why, Commodus was considered to be known as worst emperor. Commodus ruled for about 15 years and during his rule he became increasingly ruthless and indifferent. He preyed on the powerless, war veterans, and animals. He was so self-obsessed that he renamed himself Hercules and proclaimed himself a living god. He wasted the nation’s resources on statues of himself all across the empire, leading to an economic crisis and depreciation of the Roman currency. The country saw civil war during his reign.
