Hello, Muqtis or iqtadars were the holders of land assignments or iqtas.They collected the assigned revenues from their iqtas and paid the salaries to the soldiers and maintained the army. The role of the muqti was to lead military campaigns and to maintain peace and order in their Iqtas.
