why are cannot see our surrounding clearly when we enter a darkened cinema hall from bright sunshine but our vision improve after sometime.

It happens because when we stay in sunlight, the pupil becomes small to avoid excessive light entering into the eyes. When we come in a darkened cinema hall, the pupil stays small because eyes cannot adjust the environment directly. It takes time. That's why we can't see properly in darkened hall after coming from sunshine. Hope it helps.

Because in a sunlight our pupil becomes small so that excessive light does not enter our eye. when we go to a dark room the pupil takes time to enlarge and visualise everything clearly.
