why are chromozomes called heriditary vehicle?
@bavli: your friends are right.
@others: nice work.....keep it up...!!!!
Chromosomes are called hereditary vehicle because genes are located on the chromosomes in the form of linear array which are responsible for the passage of characters from the parents to the offsprings (inheritance).
chromosomes are called the heredity vehicles as the carry the very essential genes wehich are dependent for the blueprint of the body to be formed and decide the characteristics of the body to be formed in advanced.
they transfer the charactes from one generation to another.
hope it helps!!
