Why are furniture and luggage uncountable nouns? They can be counted right?
Luggage is an uncountable noun. Few other similar uncountable nouns are furniture, information, wood, weather, etc. These things cannot be counted. We can count the pieces of information or logs of wood, however, these cannot be counted on a numerical unit.
