Why are reefs not found from West Bengal to Andhra Pradesh but not found in Tamil Nadu on the east coast of India?

Low siltation, high salinity, optimal temperature, and low fresh water inflows are required for corals. These conditions are not present in West Bengal to Andhra Pradesh; thus reefs are not found there. However, these conditions are present in Tamil Nadu; hence they are found there.
