Why are some people colour blind for some specific colour? 

Dear Student
Human retina contain two types of cells cones(for colour) and rods (light sensitivity). Fault in cone cells result in colour blindness. There are 3 types of cone cells one perceives blue light and second green and third red light. Fault in these cells result in colour blindness towards specific colour.
