Why are the drooping leaves recover when water is added to the soil ?

Dear Student,

Please find below the solution to the asked query:
Wilting is the condition that arises in plants when more water is lost by evaporation as compared to what is absorbed from the soil. This causes the cells to lose their turgor and leading to a drooping structure of the plant. Due to this reason, this condition in plants can be normally overcome if water is added to the soil.
