why bacteria and viruses are considered as "Immortal"?

Bacteriais immortal as it does not face natural death. One bacteria divides into two and the cell contents are equally distributed and nothing dies in this process.Similarly viruses also divide themselves into two and the cell contents are equally distriduted and nothing dies. This goes on forever and nothing dies thusvirusesand bacterias are considered immortal
