Why boiling is a bulk phenomenon

Dear student,
The temperature at which the liquid changes into a gas or vapor is called as the boiling point. It tells about the strength of the intermolecular forces of the attraction. The greater is the intermolecular force of attraction, the higher will be the boiling point. The boiling point of the water is 100-degree Celsius. It is called as the bulk phenomena because the particles inside the liquid gains the adequate amount of energy to change into the vapor state and this happens only at a boiling point.
