why cant we hear the sound made by bats ?
As we know, a bat emits ultrasonic waves of high pitch to avoid from obstacles or for hunting their preys.
Frequencies higher than 20 kHz are called ultrasonic sound. The audible range of sound for human beings extends from about 20 Hz to 20 KHz.
Hence, we are unable to hear the sound made by them.
