Why corpus collasum connects the two cerebral hemisphere?

Dear Student

Corpus collasum  is a thick band of nerve fibres which connects the left and right sides of the brain. It allows communication between both hemispheres.
It integrates motor, sensory, and cognitive performances between the cerebral cortex on one side of the brain to the same region on the other side of the brain.
