In the lesson 'Bholi',  Bholi was called a cow and a simpleton by her parents because she was calm and polite. Unlike her sisters, she wasn't very good looking or physically strong. She never spoke before anyone till her teacher made efforts to change her personality. Moreover, people thought her to be as dumb as a cow.
