why did gandhi ji oppose charles freer andrew proposed stay in champaran ?
Though Charles Freer Andrews was a huge follower of Gandhi Because Gandhi didnt want an outsider, a white to look after the works of champaran when there are capable indians who can very well look do it. He thought it was a weakness to rely on a white to help them. He wanted indians to be self-reliable.
