Why did Kemp turn out differently than Griffin? After all they are both scientists. Is Kemp less isolated then Griffin ? Is it simply because Kemp has more money ?

griffin was a psycophan basically. he wanted to establish a reign of terror. he was bossy and wanted ppl to follow him. he tells kemp that whosoever will not abide by his commands he would meet his end.
however kemp is practical and wise unlike griffin.
