Why did Lencho not want the money to be sent through mail?

Solution

Lencho did not want the money to be sent through the mail because he did not trust the post office employees. He thought that they would have stolen money from his envelope. When he counted the money, there were only seventy pesos in the envelope. He got angry. He was sure that God could neither make a mistake nor deny him what he had asked for. Hence, he concluded that the post office employees must have taken the remaining thirty pesos.
