Why did Margie and Tommy had mechanical teachers?
Dear student,
Margie and Tommy belonged to the future, in the chapter, the future is shown to be a highly technologically advanced era where students don't have to go to the school for their education. The teachers were available at the homes of the children. These teachers were mechanical (or the robots). The parents from the future believed that a mechanical teacher is more capable, will teach according to the calibre of the student, can concentrate on one student at a time.
Regards
