Why did the narrator consider Ratna for ranga

Dear student

The narrator thought that Ranga was capable of being a good husband. When he found out that Ranga was against marriage, he made up his mind and swore to get Ranga married. He considered Ratna to be the perfect bride because she was a pretty girl of eleven, she was from a big town and she knew how to play the veena and the harmonium. She also had a sweet voice. Both her parents had died, and hence, the narrator felt Ranga would be the perfect partner for her.
