why did the tourist throng to see tut's tomb? what was their reaction?

Tourists from all over the world thronged to see king Tut's rock cut tomb nearly 26 feet underground and pay tribute to him. They all had very firmly set their eyes on the murals on the walls of the chamber where the body was buried and had also gazed and analysed king Tut's furtive face.
Later some of them stood quietly besides king Tut's tomb, fearing if the 'Curse of the Pharao's' would materialise soon enough and give them with misfortune for life, if at all they tried to harm or disturb him anyway.
They thought that all the negative spirits could also fall on to them if they would violate the conditions of the curse.
