The brambles were very loving and caring parents. They were very proud of their brilliant son. He was so sensitive that they feared that if not-so-respectable profession of Bill was revealed to him, he would feel ashamed and die of disgrace of it.They were also advised by the people to keep it a secret to spare the developing complexes for Harold. Therefore, they took a lot of pains to conceal the real identity of Bill as Young Porky, by telling their son that his father was a commercial traveller.
