Why direction of anticlockwise moment along the axis of rotation is outwards??????

Dear Student,
Direction of anticlockwise moment along the axis of rotation is outwards .From right hand thumb rule if the fingers  of the right hand are curled fom the direction of r toward the direction of  F then the thumb points in the direction of the torque. 
so, if we curl the fingers in anticlockwise direction then thumb will be outwards.
