why do amorphous solids flow
Amorphous solids have two type of forced. One is covalent bond which forms layers and other one is intermolecular attraction forces which is between layers. Due to this weak forces between the layers they slip on one another and flows like liquid. But as they are solid in room temperature their movement are very slow.
