why do identical twins have same eye colour ?

Twins are two types either monozygotic twins or dizygotic twins. Monozygotic twins develop from one zygote which splits into two embryos. Dizygotic twins develop from two eggs in which each egg is fertilized by different sperm. Monozygotic twins or identical twins have same eye colour because they develop from same zygote and share the same DNA.
