why do idol makers mix cotton fibre with clay
Dear Student
Cotton is a form of cellulose which is used in making idols by mixing it with clay as it does not contain starch which rots the idol and is easy to add to the wet clay mixture
. Another advantage is that these fibres are natural and not coloured.
