Why do Penguines live in flocks sticking close to each other?

Dear Student

Penguins live in flocks by sticking close to each other. This helps them to stay warm in the extremely cold climate. Staying together also protects them from predators. When the Penguins stay together, they also prevent their body heat from escaping into the surroundings, which in turn helps in their survival during snowstorms and chilling temperature.
