why do the king of lilliput, skyresh bolgolam and flimnap represent human behaviour at its worst?

The king of Lilliput, Skyresh and Flimnap represented human behaviours at its worst. They show all human vices and greed. Their actions depicted the kind of life humans lead, their deceptive natures and also thankless and rude attitude.

The ruler of Lilliput was just fewer than six inches tall but he made an attempt to control Gulliver. He was proud of his power. Though Gulliver helped him quite a number of times, he tried to kill Gulliver. He did not hesitate to execute his subjects for small reasons and was a threat to his own people. He abused power to its utmost.

Just like the emperor, Skyresh, the admiral of Lilliput, also grew enmity against Gulliver. Though Gulliver helped him in defeating the Blefescudians, Gulliver’s success made him jealous of Gulliver.

Flimnap, a Lord at Lilliput was a true politician. He believed that Gulliver was having an affair with his wife and so he behaved in the most irrational and wildly manner. He represented human weakness in all possible ways.
