Why do we feel hot when we stand near a fire?

Cause heat could be transfered through thin air - it's called radiation.

you feel hot because, when you stand near a fire the temperature around you is gretter than your body temperature leading to an exchange of heat, your body then gain heat from the fire .

THIS IS BECAUSE OF THE PROCESS OF RADIATION. THE HEAT CAN BE ABSORBED BY OUR BODY WITHOUT ANY MEDIUM.

We feel hot because of the process of radiation which does not require any medium.

we feel hot as radiation mode of heat transfer takes place

we feel hot because fire radiate heat

when you stand near a fire lit place you
feel hot due to a process of transfer of heat by a process called convection.
Convection is a process of
transfer of heat from one body to
another through a fluid medium
(air & water).The heat concentration
around fire place is high while concentration around air particles is low.
So,due to difference in concentration
gradient the heat transfers from higher
(fire place)to lower concentration (air).
Similarly, the heat transfers to our body
through air particles &we feel hot.

you feel hot because, when you stand near a fire the temperature around you is gretter than your body temperature leading to an exchange of heat, your body then gain heat from the fire i.e an endothermic reaction occurs and the heat absorbs leads to an increase in your body temperature making you to feel hot!

We feel hot when we stand near fire because fire is hot and produces heat
