While or after heavy exersises there is a lack of oxygenand so anaerobic respiration takes place within our muscle cells and produces lactic acid. By having hot water baths or by massaging the affected area we can get relief from muscular cramps as these activities help improve the blood circulation.

We get muscle cramps during heavy exercises . During heavy exercises sometimes we cannot able to provide oxygen to our muscles to release enegy . So , the muscles respires anaerobically to obtain energy . The end products are - energy and lactic acid . This lactic acid accumilates in our muscles and causes muscle cramps .

we get muscle cramps becuase of vigorous exercises. Normally people do aerobic respiration i.e : respiration in the presence of oxygen , but when we perform excercises , the body will need more oxygen , but the supply will be less , so then , the body performs anaerobic respiration i.e : respiration in the absence of oxygen . So the product formed will be lactic acid . And thus lactic acid accumulates in the muscles of our body , and thus , we get muscle cramps

While we exercise, our body functions much faster asper the normal rate , due to that we need more energy so we respire anaerobily , in this process lactic acid is realeased that's when we get muscle cramp , we can reduce it my taking hot water bath
