Why do we take the same area (common area) while calculating the mutual inductance of two long coaxial solenoids of radii r1 and r2 (r1

Dear Student

It is because due to change in current in one coil flux linked with other coil changes.

Flux linked with both coil is same same amount of current first flows in one solenoid and than in other so area is same.
