When a baby girl is born, limited numbers of eggs are already there in her ovary (undeveloped eggs).. when all the ovaries releases all of their eggs, it results in meno pause..which leads to the end of female reproductive activities.

during mensuration, ova are produced.but after menopause no eggs are produces.and if no eggs are produced then the fertilisation will not take place.
