why do you think anne feels distant from her mother? Is her mother entirety to blame?

Anne was not very close to her mother. Her mother always ridiculed her and gave more importance to Margot,  Anne's sister. It was not her mother's fault entirely but Anne was also very stubborn and rude to everyone.
