Why does a light ray remain indeviated when refractive index is same for two mediums?

Dear Student ,
As both the mediums have same refractive index so they will have same density resultantly there will not be any denser or rarer medium for the passing of light .Thus remember that when light ray passes through two same mediums then no refraction will occur and there will be no bending of light due to the refraction of light .
Thus the light ray will remain indeviated .
