Why does a toy car comes at rest after sometime when it is being pushed?
Dear student
when a toy car is pushed it comes to rest as there is a force called friction acting between the toy car and the floor . friction works in the opposite direction of the object. some such examples of friction are that when you throw a ball and it gradually comes to rest, when you stop pedalling the bicycle and it gradually stops , when you stop rowing the speed of the boat gets slower and then comes to a rest etc.
