Why does an aqueous solution of an acid conduct electricity??

Dear student,
An aqueous solution of an acid conduct electricity because the acidic solutions have ions like ( H+) hydrogen ions or hydronium ions (H3O+).The movement of these types of ions in the solution randomly helps in the conduction or the flow of electricity or electric current in the aqueous solution.
