Why does gas bubble released at bottom of lake grows in size as it rise ???? plz explain the earliest !

Hi,
A gas bubble released at the bottom of a lake grows in size as it rises to the surface of the lake because pressure decrease continuously when it go up in water.
At any point under the surface of liquid, pressure is proportional to its depth. As the bubble rises up, pressure of liquid surrounding it reduces which is balanced by increased volume of the bubble because of the expansion of the air molecules inside the bubble.
