why does gulliver have such a strong reaction against the yahoos when he first sees them?
 

Gulliver was fundamentally a decent man. He did not like the yahoo's behaviour which was identical to humans. Yahoos were greedy and kept for themselves enough food to feed fifty. They eat in excess and are prone to diseases.
