why does H3BO3 is not an Arrhenius acid ??

Boric acid is H3BO3 - also written as B(OH)3
Boric acid does not dissociate in aqueous solution as a Brønsted acid, but is a Lewis acid which interacts with water molecules to form the tetrahydroxyborate ion.

B(OH)3 + H2O ↔ B(OH) 4(aq) + H+ (aq)
The H+ which produces the weakly acidic solution does not come from the boric acid , but from the water.
