Why does hot water taste different from cold water even though the substance is same .

Dear student,
Cold water supressses the taste buds present on our tongue. When the water is hot/ warm our taste buds become more senstitive towards taste.
Nothing changes in the composition of water when it is heated, but when water is boiled, minerals and minute imurities gets dissolved.
So,  hot water tastes different from cold water even though the substance is same .
