Why does John Keats compair beautiful things to an endless mountain

Actually, the poet compares it to an endless fountain because the beauty of a thing is a joy forever which provides the elixir for life. Nothing can be compared to the nature's gifts to mankind. It is heavenly and mesmerising. It increases with time.
