Why does shakespeare compare the world.to a stage in the poem "the seven ages.

shakespeare compares the world around us with a sage as he thinks that this world is just like a play, people have their entrances and their exits, some have important parts while some are just like wallflowers. everyone does their part and leaves the stage. the entrance of an actor is when the person is born and the exit is after the seventh stage when that person dies.

According to shakespeare in the seven stages, the world is like a stage where the god is director who coordinates the play and all the people are mere players who come on stage,i.e., take birth play the seven stages, i.e., go through seven ages of life and exit,i.e., die.
