why does the law prohibit dowry and child marriages?

because it is not good for childrens to marry wi.they girl childs are justsent to other's home where they are not allowed to study and it is every indian's right to education.

dowry is prohibited in indian law bcoz india is a country where all type of people live rich as well as poor. For a rich family it is easy to give the demands but for a poor family it is not ta all easy to fulfill the demands even after working day and night. Hope it was helpful
