Why does the low prohibit dowry and child marriage

Dear student, 
Marrying children at a tender age deprives them of the opportunities to study and enjoy the joys of children. At a very young age the children are not ready to take of the responsibilities associated with marriage. 

Dowry system is one of the biggest evils of the society. Even today a large number of girls are suffer on grounds of demands for dowry. It instils a feeling in the society that girls are a burden to the family. 

So, the law prohibits dowry and child marriage.
